Main Problem
Plastic can be useful but unfortunately it causes tremendous damage to the environment. It’s essentially everywhere - water we drink + air we breathe. Although it hasn’t been proven to cause damage to humans, we conclude we’d be better off and healthier if plastic consumption was limited.
Solution
Of course, we need to reduce the amount of plastic in the environment. Until the environment and water we drink is plastic-free our solution is a reusable filter straw targeted towards keeping the user from ingesting unwanted
plastic + particles.
How the Straw
works?
Stainless steel
The tube is made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is durable and resists oxidation and corrosion.
Two segments
Allow for straight or curved/bent tops for ease of drinking and filter placement or changing.
Filter
The filter
The filter keeps out the smallest particles. The filter should be changed every 200 uses so that you can always enjoy clean drinks.
Very small mesh
It is a very small mesh made of innovative metal. It is so small that it filters micro plastic + particles that can't been seen.
Where it goes
The filter fits between the upper and lower Straw segments.
